Research contents of agrometeorology

According to the object of agricultural production, it can be divided into crop meteorology, animal husbandry meteorology, forest meteorology, fishery meteorology, sericulture meteorology, beekeeping meteorology and so on. Because the establishment and development of these branches have followed, their close relationship with meteorology is also different, and they are not at the same level at present. According to the research emphasis of the principle and application of agrometeorology, it can also be divided into the basic principle of agrometeorology, agroclimate, agrometeorological forecast, agromicroclimate, agrometeorological observation experiment and so on.

In practice, agrometeorological research generally has the following aspects:

(1) Identify the requirements and responses of agricultural production objects and processes to meteorological conditions, and their feedback effects on meteorological conditions, so as to put forward meteorological problems and countermeasures in agricultural production.

(2) To study and formulate the division of agro-climatic resources, so as to provide meteorological basis for developing agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and by-fishing, reforming planting system, introducing fine varieties and implementing major agricultural technological reforms. Among them, the study of agricultural topography and climate is of great significance to mountain development, diversification, soil and water conservation, protection and improvement of ecological balance.

(3) Study the laws of agro-meteorological disasters and their preventive measures. It is mainly to observe the symptoms and periods of victimization, determine the indicators of victimization, explore the mechanism of victimization, analyze the laws of disasters, issue disaster forecasts, and study the meteorological effects of defensive measures.

④ Agrometeorological forecast and agrometeorological information. Including agricultural weather forecast, yield forecast and farmland soil moisture forecast. Among them, based on the application of remote sensing technology and computer network, combined with observation data transmission and numerical simulation, it has become one of the main forms of agricultural meteorological service agriculture to gradually establish an automatic system of agricultural meteorological service.

The change of macroclimate can affect the growth, development and output of agricultural production objects through microclimate environment.
