What are weather phenomenon symbols and weather graphic symbols?

When observing a weather phenomenon, meteorological observers shall record the corresponding symbols in the "Weather Phenomenon" column of the observation record book of the day, except for a few phenomena. Based on these symbols, combined with the intensity, existence and some characteristics of weather phenomena, a group of symbols that can be filled in weather maps are called phenomenon symbols.

Weather graphic symbol

A set of images representing weather phenomena made for the convenience of citizens to understand and identify weather phenomena, for use by TV or other public media.
