Caviar West is 4,200m above sea level and belongs to plateau area, so some people may have altitude sickness. It is suggested to prepare for altitude sickness before going to caviar west to avoid or reduce the physical discomfort caused by altitude sickness.

Caviar West is a famous campsite. At present, tickets and sightseeing bus are not accepted, but a camping tent needs 100 yuan.

It is recommended to bring warm clothes, hiking shoes and two pairs of socks to ensure the comfort when climbing mountains.
