There are two sections for boating in Tuojiang River. The travel company's boat journey is from Tiaoyan to Shen Congwen Cemetery, and you can buy tickets at the North Gate Tower (Tiaoyan). Although the trip is short, it is the most intense part of Xiangxi. Take a private boat from Shen Congwen Cemetery to Taohua Island (a newly-opened tourist spot, you need tickets to 20 yuan, where there are many peach trees, and you can watch and participate in Miao folk performances), 7-8 yuan/person. The river is shallow, so you can experience the feeling of rowing with paddles. You can also ask the boatman to sing a folk song or sing with tourists from other boats. In summer, people between ships will also have a water war, so we should be fully prepared for protection.

There is also drifting outside the city, which can be seen on the way to Phoenix, probably 1 10 yuan/person.

There are many privately developed Miao villages around, with uneven quality. It's good to go there and experience the customs of Miao village. Recommended: Laozhai, Duluo Village and Jiang Shan Miao Village. There are many ticket agents in this city, so you can negotiate with them in Kan Kan.

You can go to Hongqiao Qiaotou for supper at night. There are many varieties and everything. You can also buy a few dollars' wishing lamp by the Tuojiang River and put it in the river to make your good wishes (every morning I see the cleaners salvaging the "wreckage" of the wishing lamp, I find this wonderful activity quite frustrating and destructive to the environment). If you want to try the bar style, there are many bars along the Tuojiang River. Just find someone who feels good. There will be a party in the city in the evening, around 60 yuan.

I don't recommend a specific store, lest I say that I am advertising at the expense of others. Locals are easier to talk to.

Generally speaking, there are batik and embroidery, silver ornaments (both worn and decorated), bone carvings, root carvings, pyrography, sand paintings, and many books and postcards describing Xiangxi.

I ate ginger candy (the ginger candy recommended upstairs is really good, but the price will be more expensive than other places, because people are famous brands, hehe), twist candy, dried kiwi fruit, sugar ginger, stewed duck with blood (vacuum packaging).

Drink by the catty, and then buy other utensils (such as gourd or bamboo tube).

5. What you need to bring

Needless to say, personal belongings, cash (there are few places where you can swipe your card), camera, toiletries, and clothes change. When summer comes, you still have to take an umbrella. The rain in the mountain city will continue to rain. There are also skin care products with sunscreen (boys should take it to see you).

I'll arrange the rest myself, and the expenses of Phoenix (including the basic six items of food, housing, entertainment) are probably enough (certainly not the top consumption level).
