Why is the climate dry in winter?

Most parts of China have monsoon climate, with high temperature and rainy summer and cold and dry winter.

In winter, the summer monsoon has withdrawn from the mainland, the rain belt has also withdrawn, and the precipitation has decreased;

However, winter winds from Mongolia-Siberia high prevail, blowing from northwest to southeast. Because the winter wind comes from the mainland, there is little water vapor in the wind.

So it is dry in winter.
