Is eczema related to wet weather?

Eczema is a common inflammatory reaction of skin diseases caused by various internal and external factors, with severe itching and superficial epidermis and dermis. There are three stages: acute, subacute and chronic. There is a tendency of exudation in acute stage. In the chronic stage, it is infiltration and hypertrophy. It is characterized by self-consciousness, unbearable itching, pleomorphism, symmetrical distribution, exudation tendency, chronic course of disease and easy recurrence. Some patients directly show chronic eczema. Skin lesions are polymorphic, symmetrical, itchy and prone to recurrent attacks. All kinds of external stimuli, such as scalding by hot water, excessive scratching, cleaning and contact with potentially sensitive substances such as fur preparations, should be avoided. Less contact with chemical products, such as soap, washing powder, detergent, etc. Avoid foods that may be allergic and irritating, such as peppers, strong tea, coffee and alcohol.
