It is also possible that the engine oil head is poorly atomized or the oil quantity of the oil pump is too low.

In addition, when winter comes and the temperature is low, it will bring a lot of influence to the start-up of the unit. Therefore, the following items should be paid attention to when using diesel generator sets in winter.

1 After the diesel engine runs in winter, if it is parked in the open air, always pay attention to the weather changes. When the local temperature is lower than 4 degrees, the cooling water in the cooling water tank of the diesel engine should be discharged, because the volume of water changes greatly at 4 degrees. When the water changes from liquid to solid, the volume expansion will damage the radiator of the cooling water tank.

2. In winter, due to the poor working environment of diesel engine, it is necessary to change the air filter frequently at this time. Due to the extremely high requirements for air filters and diesel filters in cold weather, if they are not replaced in time, the wear of the engine will increase and the life of the diesel engine will be affected.

3. When choosing engine oil for diesel engine in winter, try to choose engine oil with thinner viscosity.

4. When the diesel engine is started in winter, the air temperature sucked into the cylinder is low, and it is difficult for the piston to reach the natural temperature of diesel oil after compressing the gas. Therefore, before starting the diesel engine, corresponding auxiliary methods should be adopted to improve the temperature of the diesel engine block.

5. After the diesel engine is started, it should run at low speed for 3-5 minutes to improve the overall temperature of the diesel engine, check the working condition of lubricating oil, and then put it into normal operation. When the diesel engine is running, try to reduce the sudden speed increase or step on the accelerator as much as possible, otherwise it will affect the service life of the valve assembly for a long time.
