Why is there no artificial rainfall in Shenyang?
Artificial rainfall should have sufficient conditions. Generally, natural precipitation requires not only certain macro weather conditions, but also microphysical conditions in the cloud, such as: there must be large water droplets in the warm cloud above 0℃; There should be ice crystals in Leng Yun below 0℃. Without this condition, no matter how good the weather is or how good the clouds are, it won't rain. But in natural circumstances, this microphysical condition is sometimes not available; Sometimes, but not enough. The former will not produce precipitation at all; The latter has less rainfall. At this time, if artificial dry ice cores are artificially planted in the cloud, the process of freezing or condensing ice water transformation will occur in the cloud, and then with the help of the natural collision process of water droplets, rainfall can be generated or increased. For example, the catalyst in the cloud plays a role, just like salted tofu, which increases the intensity of precipitation that would not have been generated.
As we all know, if there is rain, there must be clouds first, and if there are clouds, there may not be rain. The natural rainfall (or snow) passing through Leng Yun is due to the fact that there are enough ice crystals in the cloud-saturated water vapor or supercooled water droplets, which are condensed or frozen by ice cores (water-insoluble dust particles) to form ice embryos. Water molecules of water droplets in supercooled clouds will evaporate and condense on ice crystals, which will grow and fall into the snow. If the temperature under the clouds is higher than 0℃, they will melt into rain. If there are not enough ice crystals in this cloud in nature, because the water droplets in the cloud are very small and can be suspended in the air for a long time without falling, then there is only cloud without rain. At this time, if silver iodide particles are sown in this cloud, many ice crystals can be produced, and the water on the water droplets in the cloud can be quickly transferred to these artificial ice crystals through evaporation and condensation, so that the ice crystals will grow rapidly and produce snowfall. If the ground temperature is high, the snow will collide and merge into water droplets while melting, and eventually become rain.
So let's pray for cloudy days.
