What is renal insufficiency?

"Kidney deficiency" is a term that only appears in TCM diagnosis. In western medicine, the kidney is an important organ of the urinary system. In traditional Chinese medicine, the function of kidney goes far beyond the scope of urinary system and is closely related to human growth, aging, intelligence and fertility. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the kidney is the innate foundation, storing essence, water, qi, bone and marrow, which is the source of human life activities. Due to congenital deficiency, acquired malnutrition, long-term fatigue, heavy life pressure, excessive atrioventricular, or long-term illness, kidney injury, old age and other reasons, renal insufficiency will occur, and a series of kidney deficiency symptoms will appear. Perhaps it is because kidney deficiency will affect men's sexual function, which makes most men "talk about it", have such misunderstandings and prejudices about kidney deficiency, and even avoid medical treatment when kidney deficiency occurs, delaying their illness.
