Grimm's Masterpiece Theater is a series of animations adapted from Japan based on Grimm's Fairy Tales, which is produced by Asahi. It is broadcast at 1987 and 1988 every Wednesday from 6 pm to 7 pm (Tokyo time), with a total of 24 episodes.

In the same year, 23 newly produced episodes were broadcast from 654381October 2 to1March 26, 989, and the title was changed to "New Grimm's Masterpiece Theater" (New Grimm's Masterpiece Theater).
