You seem to have been dry for three weeks on the surface, but the thick part inside is not completely dry! After brushing the oil, it will isolate the air. If the color inside is not completely dry, it will cause the picture to become dim for a long time!

The pigment falls off, which proves that it is not dry. Varnish is a mixture, and turpentine in it will cause the wet color to wash away! That's why we usually wash our pens with turpentine after painting!

Polishing and matte finish: only once. Never get more!

It is best to choose dry days for glazing oil and matte oil, and clean the floating dust on the picture before glazing.

When applying varnish, the picture should be flat and painted with a wide pen or brush (hard brush). Excess varnish should be swept away with a dry brush in time.

It seems to be solidified: it should be beeswax precipitation in matte oil, which should be shaken well when polishing. If it really doesn't work, put the frosted oil bottle in a jar, pour hot water into the jar and heat it, so that the beeswax in the frosted oil can be fully dissolved, and then put it on.

Just wait until the varnish dries, but wait until the varnish dries, about a week! The paint on it will dry, too, but this time you must wait until the paint is dry before polishing!

Selection and making method of varnish!

The domestic quality is similar. The quality of Beijing Baihua is good (there are several grades, but there are also good ones), but the price is much higher. The best is canned, imported from abroad (100).

You might as well do it yourself. Dama resin (also called Dama gum) bought "99 yuan Duo 500ml" from Beijing Dongsi Chemical Reagent Company, ground it into powder, poured it into nylon stockings and tied it tightly. Find a big jar and pour in three times of turpentine from Dama resin. Soak the socks filled with Dama resin in turpentine, tie the thread, leave the bottle mouth, stir and take it out, fix it so that Dama resin hangs (not sticking to the four walls), cover the bottle cap (preventing turpentine from volatilizing), let it stand for 24-36 hours to completely dissolve Dama resin, take out nylon stockings, let it stand for another week, and filter it with clean cotton cloth to obtain 1:3 Dama varnish.

Add 1/4- 1/3 saponified wax (with different glossiness) into 1: 3 dama varnish to obtain matte varnish.

Saponified wax (sold in art shops) can also be made by yourself, but white beeswax is hard to find!
