Yecheng County is located in the southwest of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, south of Kashgar, at the northern foot of Karakorum Mountain, on the southwest edge of Tarim Basin, on the alluvial fans of Tizinafu River, uruk Ustanghe River and Kekeya Ustanghe River, and 3 kilometers away from the capital Urumqi 15 13.

Yecheng County borders Zepu and shache county in the northwest, shache and Tashkurgan in the southwest, Mohammad County in the north, Pishan County in the east, Karakorum Mountain and Kunlun Mountain in the south, Pakistan and India, and Kashmir.

Climate:
