Walking on the Anqing River embankment
Starting from Jiang Yan Temple, while enjoying the beautiful scenery, I stopped to take photos. The dike in Yicheng is different from other places. It is not only a flood wall, but also a unique landscape. The levee is a scenic spot with steps up and down. All the roads on the embankment are paved with small square tiles and cast iron railings are installed on both sides. Standing on the bank, you can see Anqing Yangtze River Highway Bridge, just like a giant dragon leaping across the banks. In the shade of trees, the buildings on the south bank are clearly visible. The sun shines on the river, sparkling, and fishing boats pass by from time to time, stirring up waves and patting the bank.
On the river bank, willows are weeping. Winter has arrived, and the branches are hanging down, still firm and green. On the stone chair under Liu Yin, the sun shone through the leaves, and a couple snuggled together in the mottled light and shadow. I gently bypassed it and climbed the steps to the embankment, fearing to disturb their forgetting. Although it is winter at this time, the Huang Juhua in the flower bed on the embankment is still in full bloom, and the air is filled with faint fragrance.
Yingjiang Temple is not far away, and the vibration tower is still beautiful and majestic. Since ancient times, there has been a reputation of "crossing Anqing without looking at the tower" and "the first tower of the Yangtze River", but it is a pity that the sight of "the shadow of the tower crossing the river" is rarely seen again now. Throughout the dynasties, Yingjiang Temple incense still flourished, and there was an endless stream. It is not only a temple, but also a tourist attraction and a landmark building in Anqing.
Walking in the lounge, the warm sunshine shines on the body, which makes people feel a little lazy and comfortable. There are pavilions and pavilions on the embankment every few roads for pedestrians to rest. Sitting under the stainless steel pavilion, listening to the traffic noise along the middle road along the Yangtze River, looking at the willows on the embankment outside the embankment, several reeds that have not withered are still swaying gently in the wind with tidbits. Noisy and quiet are separated by a dike, as if they were two worlds.
On the inner wall of the embankment opposite the Yangtze River Public Security Building, there is a cultural wall, 87 meters long and 4 meters high, which is carved with famous events and figures in modern history near Anqing. Standing in front of the cultural wall, looking at such a miniature of Anqing's human history, I can't help but be awed by the battle of crossing the river, the defense of Chen Duxiu and Anqing, the boat of Huang Qi, Huiban's entry into Beijing and Xu Xilin's dedication. If you come at night, the relief illuminated by the light will be more solemn and heavy.
Under the outer dike, the ground paved with road bricks is very flat, with railings, stone benches and chains made of willow trees. People walk in twos and threes, the grass is still green and the river is still long. A few fishermen by the river lay in the warm sunshine, quietly waiting for the fish to take the bait. The river is naughty, shining with golden light under the sunlight. A woman is still washing on a stone by the river when the weather is fine. Her cuffs are high and her waist swings gently, causing ripples to slowly ripple away.
Some docks along the Yangtze River seem to have been abandoned for a long time, surrounded by iron fences, and even the cracks in cement pouring are covered with weeds. Walking up the river bank, there is a pavilion with red columns and yellow tiles near the west road along the river. This is the "Smoke-burning Pavilion", next to the river embankment and the Yangtze River, surrounded by stone tablets, rockeries, smoke-burning reliefs, scattered trees and relief stones.
Looking at the "smoke-burning pavilion", the sun has gradually set in the west, and time always slips away unconsciously. I think, what kind of scene would it be if the "smoke-burning pavilion", the river bank and the vibration tower all lit up with landscape lights at dusk?
