Junlian County is high in the south and low in the north, with the highest peak of Daxue Mountain in the southeast, with an altitude of 1, 777.2 meters, and the lowest in Mutan Valley in the northeast, with an altitude of 368.5 meters and an amplitude of 1, 408.7 meters.
