The picking time of Huangshan Mao Feng is mainly concentrated in April. If the weather conditions were similar in that year, you can start picking at the end of March.

Generally speaking, however, the picking of Huangshan Mao Feng will wait until the new shoots of 10- 15% appear in the tea garden. There are too few new shoots, and the amount that can be picked is less. It is too much trouble to pick them back and forth. Remember, they are usually picked only in the morning.

However, it is also green tea. Personally, I prefer Xinyang Maojian tea. This tea tastes better. It is suggested that tea can be reserved in Jiupin, and pheasants can be stocked under tea trees, with less pests and strict quality control. However, Jiupin produces less tea each year, so it needs to be booked in advance!
