Longzhong is located in Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, about 20 miles west of Xiangyang City, in Longzhong Scenic Area at the junction of three districts and counties (Xiangcheng District, Nanzhang County and Gucheng County) of Xishan Ring Arch.

During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion in his youth (7-27 years old) and under the cultivation of his uncle. Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion here for 10 years. Liu Bei visited the thatched cottage and invited Zhuge Liang to come out of the mountain.

Sangutang, built in the 59th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1720), is a memorial hall for Liu Bei's Sangu Maolu and Zhuge Liang's countermeasures in Longzhong. Its appearance is fragrant, and the bamboo is trimmed in Maolin. Cooper, who tied his horse when Liu Bei visited the thatched cottage, is still standing in front of the door.
