The weather in Northeast China is generally cold, and sometimes it will experience rainy weather. Generally speaking, it is cool in summer, but it often snows in winter.

The climate in Northeast China is characterized by early spring, hot summer, late autumn and cold winter. The climate changes obviously in four seasons, with alternating sunny and rainy days and rapid changes. But generally speaking, the temperature in Northeast China is low, so sometimes it feels cold.

Northeast China spans the middle temperate zone and the cold temperate zone from south to north, belonging to temperate monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, warm and rainy in summer and cold and dry in winter. The reserves of oil shale, iron, boron, magnesite, diamond, talc, jade and solvent limestone all rank first in China, and Liaohe Oilfield is the third largest oil and gas field in China, with oil and natural gas reserves accounting for 15% and 10% respectively.

Northeast Tiger, Sable, Red-crowned Crane, Sika Deer, Salmon, Black Bear, Flying Dragon, Hericium erinaceus, Ginseng, Astragalus membranaceus and Pine Ear (three treasures in Northeast China: Ginseng, Mink and Ursula) are famous at home and abroad.
