What does dressing index mean in the weather?

According to the weather conditions, such as sky conditions, temperature, humidity, wind and so on, which have the greatest influence on human body temperature, the meteorological index of dressing can remind you to dress in time according to the weather changes and reduce the occurrence of colds.
The meteorological index of clothing is divided into 8 grades. The smaller the index, the thinner the clothes.
1-2 is summer clothes, which refers to short clothes with a thickness of less than 4 mm;
Grade 3-5 is the transition season of spring and autumn, from single clothes, jackets, windbreakers to sweaters, and the clothing thickness is 4-15 mm;
Grade 6-8 is winter clothes, mainly referring to cotton-padded jackets and feather eyes, and its clothing thickness is 15 mm.
