Which mountain do Chinese travel enthusiasts like to climb the most?
The top ten non-famous peaks in China are the routes that travelers are more interested in climbing.
1. Jiucailing
2. Chuandiding
3. Jiuding Mountain
4. Zhagana Mountain
5. Wugong Mountain
6. Xiaowutai Mountain
7. Qiao Mountain
8. Haituo Mountain
9. Snow Ridge
10. Foding Mountain
Among them, Chuandiding ranks second. Because it has the largest number of climbers, it can be said to be the favorite mountain for outdoor people to climb.
Chipidianding is located in the Nanling area in northern Guangdong, with an altitude of only 1,586 meters. Compared with the 8,000-meter snow-capped mountains in China, it is difficult to attract many mountaineers at this altitude. In fact, even in the Nanling area of ??Guangdong, Chuandiding is not the highest mountain. But just such a small mountain has become the graduation route for mountain friends in China’s outdoor circles.
This phenomenon is caused by both cultural and economic reasons. Eighteen years ago, in 2000 AD, China's GDP had not yet surpassed Japan's, and not many people had the financial strength to play outdoors. After 2000, Beijing and the Pearl River Delta region, which got rich first, took the lead in going outdoors. Since then, Beijing’s Green Field and Shenzhen’s Mill Forum have quickly become the two most popular outdoor sports platforms in the country.
The highest peak in Guangdong, Shikengkong with an altitude of 1,902 meters, is located near the bottom of the boat. Logically speaking, everyone should be rushing to climb the first peak. After all, for outdoor climbers, the higher the mountain, the more challenging and popular it becomes. However, Shikengkong, located side by side with the Boat Bottom in the North Vietnam Ridge, is not very popular in the outdoor community.
This is because the top of the boat is located at the junction of Yingde, a city under the jurisdiction of Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, and Qujiang District, Shaoguan City. It is the highest peak at the junction of the two cities. It is a very large mountain, and the top of the ship is located deep in the mountains. It is named because the top resembles the bottom of a ship.
The top of the ship's bottom is located deep in the mountains. No matter which direction the climber enters the mountain, he has to climb multiple mountains first and travel a long distance before he can reach the top of the ship's bottom. This circuitous route greatly increases the difficulty of its climb.
To the west of the bottom of the boat is the Ruyuan Grand Canyon. The terrain here is dangerous, with high mountains and deep valleys, and rolling peaks, giving it a majestic appearance. At the top of the boat, you can often see clouds and mist that are level with the mountain peaks.
In 2003, the first boat bottom climbing route was developed by travel enthusiasts. The starting point at that time was Congshimentai, which is a nature reserve in Guangdong Province. The natural landscape is very beautiful, the valley is hidden among the mountains and forests, and the scenery is rich and diverse.
Starting from Shimentai, you must first follow the mountain stream and pass through a long forest hill and valley. After leaving the valley, there is a dense bamboo forest. It is difficult to carve out a road in this bamboo forest. Even if you spend a lot of effort to carve a road out of the bamboo forest, the growth rate of bamboo is too fast, and the road will soon be blocked by the new growth of bamboo, making it impassable.
So we abandoned the bamboo forest and changed our route to walk on a gravel slope. There is no soil on the slope, and the gaps between the gravel cannot hold water, so bamboo cannot grow. Therefore, this gravel slope became the second section of the climb to the top of the boat bottom.
Although there is no bamboo blocking the road, the gravel on the gravel is small and loose, and it is easy to slide when stepping on it. It is quite hard to walk, and the walking and climbing skills of the traveler are very high. Because if you are not careful, it is easy to cause the gravel to slip and cause harm to the people behind you. And walking on sliding gravel can easily sprain your feet.
After passing the gravel slope, there is a cliff. One side of the cliff is a large 90-degree vertical rock wall, and the other side is an abyss. If you accidentally slip and fall, you will be in danger. When walking on the cliff, the foot is only wide enough to accommodate your feet. Many travel friends with mild fear of heights said afterwards that they would feel dizzy when walking on this cliff.
The third section of the route, at the end of the cliff, is a steep rocky slope. The rocky slopes are covered with large rocks, layer upon layer. Because the slope is steep and the rocks are big, you have to use your hands and feet when walking. Climbing like a monkey on the big rocks is a great challenge to human physical fitness and will. Especially when carrying a large backpack weighing tens of kilograms and the center of gravity is unstable, it is very difficult to climb up.
If you are unlucky and encounter a rainy day, the rocks will be slippery after being wet, and climbing on them will be even more frustrating.
The fourth and last section is where the grass breaks up the terrain. Every year after November, the weather turns cooler and the green grassy slopes turn into golden colors. Walking on the continuous golden grass, it feels like a fairyland on earth. Of course, the premise is that after passing through the 20 kilometers of valleys, gravel slopes, cliffs and rocky slopes ahead, you are not exhausted yet and still have the energy and mood to appreciate the beautiful scenery in front of you.
From this first route, everyone can basically get a glimpse of the topography of the bottom of the boat. It covers a variety of mountainous landforms such as jungles, grass slopes, gravel slopes, Stonehenge and valleys.
As the reputation of the bottom of the boat in the outdoor circle becomes more and more popular, more and more travelers are walking, and many other routes have been developed one after another. There are now more than a dozen representative routes.
Although the difficulty varies between different routes, even the simplest route is intimidating to many travel enthusiasts.
This is why it is called "the pinnacle of Guangdong self-abuse" and the "devil-level line".
There is a saying in the travel circle: "If you love her, take her to the bottom of the boat; if you hate her, take her to the bottom of the boat."
