The editing of this paragraph has made Comrade Wu Boxiao devote his whole life and made great contributions to the development of education in China. What is more commendable is that he used his spare time to write diligently and enriched China's literary treasure house with exquisite prose works. He himself once said: "I am just a militia on the literary front, writing part-time and staying full-time." That's exactly what happened. After his busy educational work, he wrote a lot of essays full of revolutionary passion, translated Heine's poem Baltic Sea, and became an outstanding and influential prose writer in contemporary China. As his comrade-in-arms and literary and art worker Zhang Zhimin said, "His articles are simple and full of charm. He rubs rich feelings into simple words, never uses flowery words and never adds unnecessary decorations. Simple language, elegant narrative, just like a village girl wearing homespun clothes and shoes. There is no makeup on her face, but that kind of natural beauty and health is more beautiful than gorgeous. During the decades of revolutionary journey, Wu Boxiao always maintained the fine tradition of the Party, was loyal to the Party's cause, and had simple and profound feelings for the people. Whether the revolution is smooth or frustrated, whether individuals are happy or distressed, they are optimistic and full of confidence. During the ten-year turmoil, he was criticized and sent to the factory, and there was no place to pay the party dues. So he made himself a red cloth pocket, put the party dues in it on time every month, and wrote his party membership report in a small notebook. Wu Boxiao, like his prose, has a lofty ideological realm. He is in a high position and does not seek personal gain. He has worked in Beijing for many years and has been living in paintings. Like ordinary people, he often squeezes the bus to and from work. He is honest and frank by nature, sincere to others, and never cares about personal grievances. On his deathbed, he said to his children, "I don't want to bring any trouble to the people after my death." I don't want to inform my relatives and friends, and I don't want to hold any ceremony. I hope to scatter the ashes on Mount Tai in my hometown. "Comrade Wu Boxiao, as a cultural celebrity with noble sentiments and integrity, left us with eternal commemoration and precious memories.
