Yecheng County is located in the southwest of Xinjiang, more than 500 kilometers away from the capital Urumqi/KLOC-0 and 260 kilometers away from Kashgar. It is bordered by Karakorum Mountain and Kunlun Mountain in the south, open plains, Taklimakan Desert and the upper reaches of the Yarkant River in the north. The climate of Yecheng County
