Gui Zhixiang's translation of Jinling nostalgia

Climbing the mountain near the water, overlooking, it is late autumn in Jinling, the capital, and the weather has become cool. The Yangtze River, which flows thousands of miles, is as clear as white practice, and the Qingfeng Mountain is as majestic and steep as an arrow. Sailboats shuttled back and forth in the sunset, the west wind rose, and oblique wine flags fluttered in the small streets. Gorgeous boats float on a light cloud, and the egrets in the middle of the river sometimes stop flying. This beautiful scenery is hard to describe even by Dan Qing's wonderful pen. Back in those days, dignitaries struggled to live a luxurious life. Unfortunately, in the attic outside the Rosefinch Gate, the monarchs of the Six Dynasties were defeated one by one. Since ancient times, many people have climbed here to reminisce about the past, and they are all sad for the honor and disgrace of past dynasties. All the changes in the Six Dynasties disappeared with the flowing water, leaving only bleak cold smoke and decaying hay. Until now, strong women in business still don't know the sorrow and hatred of national subjugation, and always sing the legacy of "backyard flower" loudly.
