What road travel strategies are worth recommending in Xilin Gol grassland?

Some time ago, my friends and I went to go on road trip, Xilin Gol Grassland. During the trip, we saw a panoramic view of the grassland. I will introduce my road trip strategy to you.

Attractions on the way (in order): 1. Dali Lake

We first entered the scenic spot from the entrance to the south bank of Dali Lake, and then walked along the wooden plank road to the center of the lake. At first, I didn't see anything special at the entrance, but I walked for about a kilometer on the wooden plank road and the water grass field. When I turned around, I suddenly saw the panoramic view of Dali Lake! I was stunned by the vast beauty in front of me. Under the blue sky, the endless Dali Lake is like a huge sapphire. The sun shines on the lake and the scenery is spectacular. The breeze blew, and there were layers of waves on the lake. I feel like I'm at the seaside. We walked along the beach by the lake and left footprints on the beach barefoot for a group photo. Climbing to the top of the mountain overlooking the lake is also shocking. 2. Ashatubbing Stone Forest

Ashatubing Stone Forest Scenic Area, the unique landform here left a deep impression on me. We entered from the west gate of the scenic spot, checked in at the tourist center first, and then took a bus to the top of the mountain. At the top of the mountain, we need to walk to different scenic spots. The ice stone forest in the first fairyland is fantastic, and all kinds of ice stones are scattered all over the mountains, as if entering a magical world. After we came out from there, we didn't go down the mountain by car, but chose to walk to the scenic spot on the other side. Sure enough, the other side of the "first sight" and the "unique cave" is also spectacular, with mountains and mountains, ice and snow, and the scenery is very charming. This mountainous and icy landform really gives people a feeling of crossing, which is highly recommended. We walked on the mountain all day and saw too many amazing ice stone forest wonders. 3. Xiwuqi

Xiwuqi is also called "Highway 99". Driving along Highway 99, I was deeply shocked to see the magnificent grassland scenery. Highway 99 is like a turquoise ribbon, with endless grasslands on both sides, all green. In the sun, flocks of cattle and sheep graze leisurely, and the reflection of clouds adorns them. This is the most primitive grassland I have ever seen, and there are not many traces of commercial development. On the way, we also saw Genghis Khan's lookout mountain, a legendary landmark. And there are deer grazing on the road, and the deer is particularly cute! Driving on the grassland highway is really a quiet enjoyment. 4. Wulagai Prairie

Wulagai grassland is one of the best preserved natural grasslands in the world. It used to be the shooting place of the movie Wolf Totem and the habitat of coyotes. It was midsummer when we went. The grass on the grassland was lush and there were wild flowers everywhere. On the grassland in the horizon, you can see the clouds close at hand, and the blue sky, white clouds and green grass constitute a magnificent picture. We also went to Jiuqu Bay. The big river on this grassland is very spectacular, and the river twists and turns. Standing on the edge of the bay, the water in the bay shines in the sun, and the blue sky and white clouds are reflected on the river. This endless grassland and wetland scenery really makes people lament the ingenuity of nature. If you have enough time, you can experience a deep grassland tour, watch wolves at close range in Yelang Valley, and experience activities such as horseback riding and archery. 5. Holingol

The most famous place in Holingol is Khan Mountain Scenic Area, where amazing sculptures left a deep impression on me. Let's go in through the gate of Khan Mountain. There are two statues of two generals riding on a big horse. They are called "Mongolian door gods" and are very imposing. Then along the 800-meter Canglang Road, there are 26 stone pillars on the road, each of which is lifelike. When we came to the foot of the mountain, 800 terracotta warriors and horses sculptures appeared in front of us, and the murderous scene was very shocking. Especially the giant statues of Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan on the top of the mountain are soul-stirring, and the momentum is really unforgettable. Through these sculptures, I seem to have traveled through time and space to return to the dream world, and personally felt the majestic momentum. Gourmet: First of all, salty milk tea is full of wine, which is the symbol drink of Inner Mongolia. Made of local natural organic milk, the milk is full of fragrance, which is the taste memory on the grassland. I always have a bowl after every meal, especially on hot days. Salted milk tea is super refreshing to quench my thirst. Then hand-grabbed mutton must not be missed. At the scene, you can choose the degree of obesity according to your own preferences, and then dip in the special Chili powder to enjoy it together. The freshness of mutton is easy to taste. The more authentic way to eat mutton is to eat it together in a sesame seed cake. Inner Mongolia's cooking is also very authentic, especially mutton and green onions, which are very large and thin, and the gravy is full with a bite. I must order every meal with a bowl of rich mutton offal soup. If you want something sweet, yogurt cake is the best choice. Yogurt tastes special, mellow and delicious, and it is also a favorite food for children. Of course, barbecue is also a must in Inner Mongolia. On-site cooking such as kebabs and grilled fish, the raw materials are very fresh. It's a perfect match with the special Dayao beer!
