Maoming City belongs to Guangdong Province. Maoming, a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province. Located in the South China Sea coast of China, in the southwest of Guangdong Province, with its back to the southwest of the motherland. It governs Maonan District and Dianbai District, and Gaozhou City, Huazhou City and Xinyi City.

Mianbeiding (at the junction of Gaozhou and Xinyi) is at an altitude of1627m, and Ehuangzhang (at the junction of Dianbai and Yangchun) is at an altitude of1337m. This mountain area forms a barrier in the north of the city, blocking the cold air flow in the north in winter and reducing the harm of cold current to the headquarters. In spring and summer, the warm mass from the south rises, which leads to abundant rainfall in the southern mountainous area of our city. There are many rivers and abundant water resources in mountainous areas, which are the main areas for forestry and hydropower development.

Maoming City is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer and belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone, with obvious monsoon and diverse climate types, with northerly winds prevailing in winter and southeast winds prevailing in summer. The main climatic characteristics are: first, there is no severe cold in winter, no heat in summer, long summer and short winter, abundant heat and rainfall, and obvious dry and wet seasons; Second, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with mountainous areas in the north, large vertical temperature difference, abundant precipitation in mountainous areas, complex and diverse small terrain climate and remarkable three-dimensional climate; Third, there are two rainy seasons.
