The car starts from the first intersection and runs at a relatively fixed speed. Take Xin Bengbu Road as an example. The total length of Xinbu Road (Yuhuangshan Road-Expressway Exit) is 7. 1km, and there are 15 signalized intersections. The average driving speed before optimization was 45km/h, and after optimization with one-way green wave, the average driving time from south to north was shortened from 12min to about 7min, and the average driving speed reached 60 km/h.

Of course, the green wave belt is not omnipotent, its setting is restricted by the basic conditions of the road, and its operation effect is also affected by many factors, such as traffic flow, interference from non-motor vehicles and pedestrians, weather, accidents and so on.
