Qiandao Lake is located in Chun 'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and a small part of it is connected with the northwest of jiande city. It is an artificial lake formed by storing water in the lower reaches of Xin 'anjiang River, which is used for the construction of Xin 'anjiang Hydropower Station. Qiandao Lake ranks first among the major rivers and lakes in China. It is a national first-class water body and is known as the best water in the world. 1984 12 15, Zhejiang Geographical Names Committee officially named Qiandao Lake of Xin 'anjiang Reservoir.

The main water source of Qiandao Lake is Xin 'anjiang River in Anhui Province and its tributaries, and the catchment comes from Shexian, Xiuning, Tunxi, Jixi, Qimen and southern huangshan district in Huizhou, Anhui Province. The annual average temperature of Qiandao Lake is 65438 07℃. The rainy season in Qiandao Lake is from early June to early July, and the dry season is from mid-July to late August.
