When does the hail usually fall?

It is easier to hail in summer, because the weather is hot in summer, and the sun bakes the earth very hot, which is easy to produce a lot of hot and humid air near the ground. Hot and humid air rises rapidly and the temperature drops rapidly, sometimes even as low as -30℃. The water vapor in hot air will condense into water droplets when it meets cold air, and quickly freeze to form small ice beads. Small ice beads roll up and down in the clouds, constantly absorbing the surrounding water droplets to condense into ice, getting heavier and heavier, and finally falling from the sky, which is hail.

When it hails, you should pay attention to the following items:

1. Drive livestock and poultry to a safe place with a roof in time. For aquaculture products, the impact is not great. In case of cooling weather caused by hail, you can take cold-proof measures.

2. Before the hail occurs, cover the dry crops as much as possible, such as covering the crops with bamboo fabrics that can prevent hail; Irrigation can be used to protect the seedlings of paddy crops; Mature crops can be harvested unexpectedly.

Field management should be strengthened for crops suffering from hail disaster, such as supporting plants to cultivate soil, intertillage and topdressing, raising ground temperature, or irrigating with water, so as to melt hail as soon as possible. In areas where crops are seriously affected, crops with short growth period and early maturity should be transplanted or vegetables should be replanted to reduce the losses caused by hail.

If there is hail in the street, cover your head with your hand and look for shelter nearby. Remember not to care too much about your image when running, and bend over to run.
