Is Ukraine an Eastern European country?

Ukraine is an Eastern European country.

Ukraine is located in eastern Europe. In fact, Ukraine is the largest country in Europe. There is a dividing line between the two continents of Asia and Europe, which mainly includes the Ural Mountains, the Greater Caucasus Mountains, and the Caspian Sea. The dividing line separates Asia and Europe, and also divides Russia into European and Asian parts.

Natural conditions of Ukraine

The biggest feature of Ukraine is the Great Plains, which are vast and connected, and they contain some of the most fertile chernozem soils. Crop growth requires two things: land and weather. Most of Ukraine happens to have a temperate continental climate, which is warm and rainy all year round. Looking at the late medieval and modern history of Europe, it can be roughly divided into Russia and non-Russian countries, with Ukraine sandwiched in the middle. Geographically, Ukraine and Belarus are the only way to enter Europe from Asia.
