Agricultural experts pointed out that although the precipitation lifted the drought, it would lead to excessive humidity in the field, and diseases such as wheat root rot and stem rot were easy to develop and spread. After the precipitation stops, farmers should make good use of fine weather to prevent and control wheat root rot, stem rot, scab and aphids.

Zhou, vice president and researcher of dancheng Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said: "Wheat has entered the booting stage, and the absorption of water and nutrients has entered a critical period, so this rain is of great help to wheat growth. If it rains for several days, farmers should pay attention to the problems of wheat diseases and insect pests in the field, strengthen management in time, and carry out one spray and three defenses.

Meteorologists reminded that after the precipitation, there will be 4-5 easterly winds and 6-7 gusts in Zhoukou, and farmers' friends should do a good job in wind prevention and reinforcement of facility agriculture.
