In addition, there is more rain in Guilin, which often rains for a day or two, and it rains more in sunny afternoons, so it is good to take an umbrella when going out, and it is also good to be prepared ~ ~:) And this is one of the reasons why I don't join the tour group. Because the itinerary of tour groups is usually set in advance, and many scenic spots in Guilin will become inconvenient once it rains, so they can arrange it freely ~ ~

As an old tourist city, Guilin's restaurants with various local flavors are still easy to find, maybe not authentic, but at least you can't be hungry ~ ~ ~

There are many special snacks in Guilin, but I have only eaten two. One is Guilin rice noodles, which I personally feel very famous. In fact, the taste is nothing special, but since it is a local characteristic, it is not bad to try it. The second is the beer fish in Yangshuo. A kind of fish unique to Lijiang River (name forgotten. . ), with green peppers, red peppers and tomatoes, mixed with the unique aroma of beer, it feels good ~ ~:) Plus a plate of local seasonal wild vegetables, a meal can be quite delicious ~ ~

However, it should be noted that there are many restaurants that make beer fish in Yangshuo. It's best not to go to restaurants near West Street, because the taste of those restaurants is not necessarily better than that of other places, but the price is much higher ~ ~ ~

As for fruits, there are many varieties and cheap prices. Generally, you will eat casually when you go out, and eat more fruits to supplement vitamins ~ ~:)

There are many hotels of various grades and prices in Guilin, which you can choose according to your own needs. As long as it is not a tourist intensive period like the Golden Week, the accommodation problem is relatively easy to solve.

Since it is a self-help tour, you need to buy a map. Looking at the map, we can find that many famous scenic spots are in Guilin, and the distance is not too far. There are still many bus lines in Guilin, and there are several special tourist buses, so it is enough to use bus+walk for these scenic spots ~ ~

As for the further scenic spots, it will take some time if you plan to help yourself all the time. Bus stations generally have short-distance buses to neighboring counties and cities. After taking the bus to the scenic spot, transfer to local vehicles such as numbness and battery cars to reach the scenic spot. If you want to steal some lazy snacks, there is a way. Let's talk about it later ~ ~

Here are some tips:

1, Guilin is an old tourist city. Even if it's not the Golden Week, there are many tourists, not to mention the Golden Week ... So, if possible, it's best not to travel during the peak period like the Golden Week, especially self-help tours. Any aspect will be very troublesome.

2. As mentioned above, if you want to save snacks when you go to a scenic spot far away from the urban area, you can choose a small travel agency in the urban area (especially next to some colleges and universities), where there will be a kind of "semi-self-help" tour group, that is, the travel agency will take you to the scenic spot by car, and then buy you a boat ticket. You can freely arrange your own activities in the scenic spot according to the route you selected in advance (if it is a rafting project, it will also be arranged for you). When? When we go back, the travel agency doesn't charter a car, but we can stay for one day if we want ~ ~ The price of such a small tour group is not expensive, generally less than 100 yuan ~

There is a classic project in the city tour, "Two Rivers and Four Lakes". Many boatmen will encourage you to take a boat when you are wandering around. In fact, the riverside and lakeside are paved with stone slabs or gravel roads. You can walk around by yourself if you like. In addition to the beautiful scenery and mountains and rivers, you can also walk across small bridges of different shapes on the lake, which is very interesting ~ ~ ~ (But among the four lakes, Long Mu Lake is free of charge ~ ~: p)

4. Lijiang River is highly recommended. The name of the gallery lives up to its reputation. In addition, whether it is misty and rainy, or the clear sky in Wan Li, it has a unique style. If you drift, you must take a bamboo raft. Sitting on a bamboo chair fixed on a bamboo raft, blowing the oncoming river breeze, watching the green mountains and green waters and listening to the boatman's stories, I enjoy it ~ ~ ~ But before going to the Lijiang River, I must pay attention to the weather forecast in the upper reaches. If there has just been a heavy rain upstream, you'd better wait for two days. Because the upstream water will raise the water level of the Lijiang River, many small islands in the river will be submerged; Secondly, a lot of sediment and sundries will be washed into the river, which will make the water turbid and have no charm of mountains and rivers.

The West Street in Yangshuo is a famous pedestrian street. There are folk shops with strong Chinese style, bars and hotels with "foreign" flavor, and of course there are some small shops with great personality. It feels a bit like Houhai in Beijing. Night is more interesting than day. If several people travel together, they can stay in Yangshuo for one night (of course, it is not a hotel in West Street, which is more expensive ~ ~: p). If there's only one person, I ... I'd better think about it a little. After all, safety is more important ~ ~:)

6. Karst caves can be regarded as one of the representatives of karst landforms. Guilin has many scenic spots for cave development, which are boasted in travel brochures, making people feel that each one has its own mystery. Actually, just pick one, because it's almost the same ~ ~:)

7. If you are a student, you must bring your student ID card. Tickets for some scenic spots will be discounted ~ ~

1 The ticket price of Guilin will not increase during the Golden Week, and some scenic spots are divided into light seasons. Cruise ships along the two rivers and four lakes are the only tourist items with price increase in Golden Week, with an increase of 25 yuan per person.

Only Guilin local ID card and student ID card can enjoy preferential fares, tour guides can enjoy preferential fares in all scenic spots (except Lijiang River), and some scenic spots can enjoy preferential fares.

All scenic spots with children's height below 1. 1 meter are free of charge, and half tickets between 1. 1 meter-1.4 meters, and the rest are full tickets.

Day 1: Guilin took a boat trip to Lijiang River. After arriving in Yangshuo, visit the big banyan tree, Moon Mountain and Xanadu, and then return to Guilin. You can choose the upper reaches of the two rivers and four lakes at night and live in Guilin.

The next day: a one-day tour of Guilin, including Elephant Trunk Mountain, Seven Star Park, Diecai Mountain, Fu Bo, Jingjiang Wangcheng, etc., which can be adjusted flexibly according to the return time.

Description: This is a very traditional tourist route in Guilin, with mountains, water, caves and parks. Relatively speaking, the price is relatively high, which is suitable for business guests and family trips with little time.

Line 3:

Day 1: Walking on the Lijiang River (Di Yang-Xingping, or compromise Di Yang-Jiuma Painting Mountain as a boat, Jiuma Painting Mountain-Xingping Walking), clubbing in West Street at night and staying in Yangshuo;

Day 1: Drifting in Yulong River, cycling in Big Banyan Tree, Moon Mountain, Bodhisattva Water Rock or Longmen Water Rock in the afternoon, feeling the impression of fisherman's life, catching fish with osprey or watching a large-scale landscape performance directed by Zhang Yimou in the evening (80 minutes), going to West Street Bar and staying in Yangshuo;

The next day: Take a boat trip to Xingping-Guzhen fishing village in Yinziyan in the morning and Xingping-Di Yang in the afternoon.

Description: This can be regarded as a new tourist route in Guilin, suitable for family weekend trips.

Three-day series: the following items can be added on the basis of the above two days:

A: One-day tour of Qingshitan Scenic Spot in Lingchuan or one-day tour of Gongcheng Confucian Temple (starting from Yangshuo);

B: One-day welfare tour in the lower reaches of the Lijiang River in Yangshuo, and rafting in Liugong Village, Sansetan or Jinlong in Xingping;

Route 1:

Day 1: Guilin takes a boat tour of Lijiang River, and after arriving in Yangshuo, it is free to move (Yinziyan is recommended). Sanjie Liu (80 minutes) lives in Yangshuo;

The next day: the Yulong River drifts. In the afternoon, the big banyan tree, Moon Mountain and Shili Gallery return to the county town, go to the West Street Bar and live in Yangshuo.

The third day: Wupai River rafting, resource life;

Day 4: Return to Guilin and visit several scenic spots in the city, such as Elephant Trunk Mountain and Diecai Mountain.

Description: This is a classic tour route in Guilin, which is suitable for business guests and families who don't have much time, and the price is relatively high.

Line 3:

The first day: drifting in Yulong River, in the afternoon, the big banyan tree, Moon Mountain, Shili Gallery returned to the county town, West Street Bar, and lived in Yangshuo;

The next day: take a boat trip to Xingping-Guzhen fishing village in Yinziyan in the morning, take a boat trip to Xingping-Di Yang in the afternoon and stay in Yangshuo.

Day 3: One-day tour of Longji Terrace (Dazhai or Pinganzhai) (you can return from Guilin or Yangshuo on the same day) and live in Guilin;

Day 4: Xiangbi Mountain, Qixing Park, Diecai Mountain and other scenic spots in the city.

Description: This route is very low cost and suitable for students and backpackers.

Spring Festival special line

Day 1: Take the Lijiang River (Di Yang-Xingping, or compromise Di Yang-Jiuma Huashan as a boat, Jiuma Huashan-Xingping), return to Yangshuo County in the afternoon, have dinner together that night, set off fireworks together for New Year's Eve (it is best to live in a farmhouse);

The next day: Go to Moon Mountain or Yangshuo County by bike. There are many unique activities in the local area, such as dragon dance, lion dance and lantern display. In the evening, we will buy fireworks and live in Yangshuo.

The third day: take a bus to Longsheng Longji terraced fields, watch the terraced fields, experience the unique Chinese New Year style of the local Zhuang, Yao and Dong nationalities, and live in Dazhai;

Day 4: Take a bus to Sanjiang and visit Chengyang Yufeng Bridge and Drum Towers everywhere. The ethnic flavor here is more unique, with activities such as grabbing fireworks and living in Sanjiang;

Day 5: Return to downtown Guilin by bus, see Elephant Trunk Mountain and visit Zhengyang Pedestrian Street.

Note: The theme of this website is self-help tour. The choice of scenic spots and the arrangement of most routes are very different from those of traditional group tours. All the routes are suitable for people who come to Guilin for the first time. All the above arrangements are calculated from the day after arrival in Guilin. Serious attention: April, May, June and July are rainy seasons in Guilin. It is not advisable to hike the Lijiang River or drift the Yulong River within 3 days after heavy rain (if you want to see the Qinghe River).

1) Ideal trip to Yangshuo

Day 1: Start from Yangshuo by bike, climb Moon Mountain via Shili Gallery-location of butterfly spring-big banyan tree, enjoy farmhouse meal in Moon House at noon, swim in water, rocks and mud, and return to Yangshuo to see the impression of Sanjie Liu in the evening according to the weather conditions.

The second day: Lijiang Essence Tour (Xingping-Di Yang)! Yangshuo starts by car, walks for an hour, draws a farmhouse meal in Jiumashan, and returns to Yangshuo by car in Xingping (this route conforms to the style of backpacks, is cheap, and the scenic spots are classic and requires high physical strength. You are welcome to try. If you can't walk, you can take a boat tour for 90 minutes)

Day 3: Ride a bike, take a country road and visit the quiet and beautiful Yulong River. Starting from Yangshuo-Baisha-Fuli Bridge (the roundest stone bridge in Guangxi)-Yulong Ancient Bridge (the largest single-hole stone bridge in Guangxi)-Gugui Yixian-General leaned over the farmhouse meal-Xiangui Bridge (the oldest single-arch stone bridge in Guangxi)-via Chaoyang Village-Windmill Villa-back to Yangshuo, visiting West Street, going to nightclubs and staying in Yangshuo. 2) The ideal mountain bike tour route in Yangshuo.

A cycling route: Yangshuo-Big Banyan Tree-Moon Mountain-Moon Village-Busan Temple-Yancun-Tianjiahe-Yangshuo.

Riding distance: about 20 kilometers, with roads and country lanes.

Route features: classic cycling route, the best landscape in Yangshuo, pastoral scenery, shepherding buffalo.

Physical requirements: very casual, suitable for ordinary physical travelers.

B Cycling route: Yangshuo-Gongnong Bridge-Riverside Villa-Yangshuo Resort-Tongmenyan-Fenglou Village-Moon Mountain-Big Banyan-Yangshuo

Riding distance: the round trip is nearly 20 kilometers.

Characteristics of the route: basically around the big banyan tree scenic spot.

Physical requirements: very casual, suitable for ordinary manual workers.

C Cycling route: Yangshuo-Welfare-Chelangshan-Xingping-Shicheng-Grape-Yangshuo Cycling distance: about 60 kilometers one way, which takes two days to complete.

Features of the route: the rural scenery along the route is good, the Xingping-Grape section is difficult to walk, and there are few tourists walking and cycling.
