Is the gas discharged from monosodium glutamate factory toxic?

The main pollution of monosodium glutamate factory is water pollution, which seems to have little to do with our daily water consumption, so people don't pay much attention to it.

The atmospheric pollution sources of monosodium glutamate plant are mainly the crushing and screening process of starch workshop, the anaerobic fermentation reactor of sewage treatment plant and the hot blast stove of spraying granulation process of compound fertilizer workshop. The pollutants discharged mainly include dust, malodorous pollutants such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S), smoke and dust produced by hot stoves and sulfur dioxide (SO2).

Harm of several air pollutants.

1. Needless to say, the dusty weather in chiping speaks for itself. The dust emitted by major factories makes the probability of smog in chiping very frequent. This kind of weather is easy to cause dermatosis, and sensitive person's skin is easy to produce allergic reaction, which affects the human respiratory system.

2.H2S (hydrogen sulfide) is a toxic gas. When exposed to low concentration (70 ~ 150 mg/m3) of H2S, it shows obvious eye and upper respiratory tract irritation symptoms, such as eye pain, tears, shame, blepharospasm, blurred vision or colored ring, runny nose, cough, chest pain, nausea and so on. And there are gradually aggravated systemic symptoms, such as dizziness, headache, fatigue, palpitation, dyspnea, cold sweat and even syncope.

Thirdly, SO2 (sulfur dioxide) is also a kind of toxic gas, which mainly harms the human respiratory system and causes tracheitis and bronchitis. It can also affect the activity of systemic enzymes and enter the blood to reduce human immunity.
