1, topographic features:

In Hotan area, Kunlun Mountain in South Vietnam reaches the northern Tibetan Plateau, bordering Tarim Basin in the north, low in the north and high in the south, and gently inclines from west to east. The terrain rises from the northern elevation of1050m to the southern mountain elevation of 7167m. Linqitang Depression was formed at the geographical boundary between Kunlun Mountain and Karakorum Mountain, and modern salt lakes and saline-alkali swamps developed, forming alpine lakes.

The average annual precipitation is 35 mm, and the annual evaporation is 2480 mm There are many sandstorms in four seasons, and there are more than 220 days of sandstorms every year, including about 60 days of thick floating dust (sandstorm). The average number of floating dust days in Hotan increases by 2.5 days per year. There is no first-class or second-class weather, with 28 days of third-class or fourth-class weather and about 300 days of fifth-class weather, and the average monthly dust fall 124 tons/square kilometer.

3. The characteristics of water resources:

The average annual runoff of surface water in Hotan area is 7.3352 billion cubic meters. Among them, the runoff in Pishan inner flow area is 706.5 million cubic meters, that in Hemo-Luonei flow area is 4,509.4 million cubic meters, and that in Qira-Yutian-Minfeng inner flow area is 265,438+193,000 cubic meters. In addition, there are 943 million cubic meters of water resources in Liu Hu area of Qiangtang Plateau.
