How many days does it take for soybean to grow?
Soybean sprouts: According to different temperatures, it is usually 8 ~ 10 days in winter and 5 ~ 6 days in summer. It can be heated in winter to make soybeans germinate faster.
Growth cycle: 1. Planting period: generally in June. After corn planting and winter wheat harvest, if the weather changes hinder corn planting, farmers will choose to switch to soybeans.
2. Germination period: This process generally begins after soybean seeds absorb 50% of the seed weight, and generally begins to germinate within one to two weeks after sowing, depending on soil moisture, soil temperature and sowing depth. If the soil moisture is poor, it will seriously affect the germination of seeds. Farmers will wait until there is enough water to plant them, or plant them in dry soil until it rains.
3. Pre-growth stage: About 25 days after soybean germination, the crop height can reach 6 to 8 inches. If the soil moisture is low, the growth of soybean will be slow, and the shallow roots may affect the absorption of nutrients by crops. About 25 days after soybean germination, the growth of soybean seedlings is more vigorous than that of corn seedlings, and high temperature weather usually only affects the growth of soybean seedlings. At this stage, the roots of soybean grow faster.
4. Branching stage: 0-6 branches of soybean blossom. Generally, about 40 days after germination, the buds on the top stem are dense and begin to bloom. At this stage, the growth of soybean can make up for the influence of early soybean germination or hail weather. The growth of soybean between the germination period (mid-June to late July) and the flowering period (mid-July to late July) will determine the number of soybean blossoms, and ultimately determine the final yield of soybean.
5. Flowering period: about 45-50 days after soybean germination. The flowering period usually lasts about 30 days, which makes soybean less sensitive to short-term weather changes than during corn pollination. The flowering height of soybean can reach 17 to 22 inches, which has reached about 50% of the mature height.
6. Podding period: 55 to 60 days after soybean germination, usually from late July to early August. If the weather is too high or dry during the flowering and pod setting period, it may lead to a decrease in the number of pods, the number of soybeans per pod or the weight of soybeans, thus reducing the yield of soybeans per mu. Under normal circumstances, the temperature in July has little effect on the final yield of soybean, but in the late flowering and early pod setting (August), if there is unusually high temperature weather,
