What if the room is cold?

You can choose the following methods:

(1) intermittent ventilation method. When the outdoor humidity is high in rainy days, most of the doors and windows facing south or southeast (i.e. upwind direction) are closed, and only the doors and windows facing downwind direction are open, so as to reduce moisture from entering the room. When the weather turns fine, open the doors and windows, and appropriately move the furniture placed in the shelter to facilitate air circulation and accelerate the evaporation of water vapor.

2 lime and red brick moisture absorption method. Wrap quicklime in cloth or sack and put it under the bed, cabinet, desk and chair, or at the corner of stairs and corridors to reduce indoor humidity by using the water absorption performance of lime. You can also use a number of red bricks and barbecue them next to the stove, and evenly put them on the ground to absorb some water.

(3) Furniture such as tables and chairs, coffee tables, and daily necessities such as oil drums, salt bowls, and sugar cans that are often used can be wiped with lukewarm soapy water to remove oil stains, mildew spots, dust, etc. Stick to the surface and keep it clean and dry, so that the moisture regain can be alleviated.

(4) In rainy or foggy days, try not to hang clothes indoors, and it is best not to bring wet clothes, umbrellas, shoes and socks indoors. Put a wiping pad in the living room or kitchen and at the door of the living room, which is convenient to eliminate the water stains on the soles. Wipe and clean the room as often as possible, pile up less sundries and keep it clean and tidy. It can greatly reduce the moisture regain phenomenon and keep the room dry.
