There is an undeveloped Huangshan Mountain in Anhui, which is known as "the last virgin forest in East China"

When it comes to tourist attractions in Anhui, most people will think of Huangshan, an ancient village with dual world cultural and natural heritage, and ignore those scenic spots of ethnic minorities. In southern Anhui, there is a mountain that has a certain connection with Huangshan Mountain, which is the residual vein extending westward. Known as "West Huangshan Mountain" in ancient times, it is Guniujiang, one of the three famous mountains in southern Anhui.

Guniujiang, located at the junction of shitai county and Qimen County, is about 2 1 km away from shitai county City and takes about 30 minutes by car. Guniujiang is mainly composed of 36 big peaks, 72 small peaks, 36 big forks and 72 small forks. Overlooking its mountain shape, it's like a Guniujiang from the sky, hence its name "Guniujiang", which is now a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

Search Guniujiang on the map, and you can find two Guniujiang scenic spots. Because it is located at the junction of Shitai and Qimen, a mountain is divided into two scenic spots, Shitai Guniujiang Scenic Spot and Guniujiang Kannonji Scenic Spot, both of which are national 4A-level scenic spots, and the ticket is also 100 yuan/person.

But for tourists, they are basically playing in the Guniujiang scenic spot in Shitai, and the essence of Guniujiang is reflected here.

Although Guniujiang is not well-known and tourists seldom come here, it has more beautiful and primitive natural scenery. Being in the scenic spot of Guniujiang, the eyes are full of green, and the fresh air is blowing head-on, which makes people feel particularly refreshing, especially when they come here to play in summer, which gives people a particularly cool feeling. It can be considered as a summer resort.

Guniujiang has maintained its most primitive appearance so far, and its natural conditions are very complicated, which also makes it rich in biological resources and complete in ecosystem. There are ancient plant species such as Taxus chinensis and Cephalotaxus fortunei, as well as sika deer, macaque, civet cat, macaque and many other animals, which are known as "the last virgin forest in East China" and "Green Nature Museum".

I visited Guniujiang the other day. As we all know, there has been heavy rain recently, and there will be light rain from time to time on the way to play, which also makes the streams here very abundant, but the streams are very green and clear. Some people say that the scenery of Guniujiang is comparable to Jiuzhaigou, and I think it is not an exaggeration to be called "Little Jiuzhaigou" in southern Anhui.

Shitai Guniujiang Scenic Area has four scenic spots: the main peak, Qifeng Scenic Area, Longmen Scenic Area and Shuanghekou Scenic Area. The main peak is Guniu Peak, with an altitude of 1, 727.6 meters, making it the third peak in southern Anhui. It has not been developed here, so it is also called "undeveloped Huangshan Mountain".

At present, Longmen Scenic Area and Shuanghekou Scenic Area are mainly opened, of which Shuanghekou Scenic Area is very primitive up to now and retains its true natural features. There are basically no human traces on the way, which is not only beautiful in natural scenery, but also said to be the heavy camp of Wu, an anti-Qing hero in the late Ming Dynasty, with a very profound cultural heritage.

Longmen scenic spot is the earliest scenic spot developed here, and it is very mature now, but the traces of development are not obvious and the commercial atmosphere is not strong. Visiting here is basically to see streams, rocks, mountains and plants, giving people a feeling of returning to nature and a sense of excitement.

The landscape characteristics of Guniujiang Scenic Area can be described in six aspects: pine, peak, fog, water and Buddha light. Like Huangshan Mountain, pine trees here are all over Shan Ye, with different shapes and magic. The peak refers to the granite peak, and its peculiar structure and exquisite shape have to make people lament the ingenuity of nature.

Of course, fog and Buddha's light can't be seen every day, and they need to be seen in a specific weather environment. Maybe everyone has seen the Buddha's light on the Internet, which is very easy to form in Guniujiang, which is inseparable from Guniujiang's unique geographical and climatic conditions. But to be honest, I have been there at least three times, but I have never seen them. ...

I wonder if you have been to or heard of Guniujiang Scenic Spot in Shitai, Anhui Province? What's your impression of the scenery here? If you have time, will you travel here? Welcome to leave a comment.
