What do you know about typhoons?
The typhoon is warm and low pressure, so the ground flow field within the typhoon range is a cyclone convergence field. According to the velocity of convergent airflow, the lower layer of mature typhoon can be divided into three areas along the meridional direction:
(1) outer ring: from the edge of the typhoon to the outer edge of the maximum wind speed zone, the wind speed increases sharply towards the center, with a wind force of more than 6 and a radius of about 200-300 kilometers;
(2) The middle circle: from the outer edge of the maximum wind speed area to the eye wall of the typhoon, it is the area with the strongest convection and wind and rain in the typhoon, with a radius of100 km;
(3) Inner ring: the eye area of the typhoon, where the wind speed drops rapidly and the radius is about 5-30 kilometers.
Although the typhoon path is ever-changing, it still has its own characteristics under the influence of similar situations and conditions. According to their main characteristics, the basic paths of typhoons in the western Pacific can be summarized into the following three categories: the first category is westward moving path, the second category is northwest moving path, and the third category is turning path.
The moving path of typhoon changes with the seasons. Generally speaking, typhoons in summer mostly belong to Route 2, while typhoons in other seasons mostly belong to Route 1 and Route 3. Among them, the westward path from east to west slowly migrates from low latitude to high latitude from winter to summer, and returns to low latitude from summer to winter. According to statistics, in June, typhoons mostly moved west from the south of 10 N, moved west between 10- 15 N in May and June, and the main track moved north obviously in July and August, affecting China's 15-25 N and 65438 in September and June. From winter to summer, it regularly moves from low latitude to high latitude, reaches the northernmost point in summer, and the turning point moves from east to west. From summer to winter, the turning point moves from high latitude to low latitude and from west to east.
Shortly before Typhoon No.9, the northwest Pacific was in an active typhoon period. In just 34 hours from the early morning of February/Kloc-0 to the afternoon of the 22nd, typhoons No.5, No.6, No.7 and No.8 were successively generated this year. According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, at 9: 50 on July 23, the No.7 typhoon "Lok" (tropical storm level) landed on the eastern coast of Hong Kong this year. When landing, the maximum wind force near the center is 8 (20m/s), and the lowest pressure in the center is 995 hectopascals. At 06: 00 on July 24th, the typhoon blue warning continued to be issued: the center of Typhoon No.8 this year (tropical storm level) was still located on the sea surface about 230 kilometers southeast of Sanya City, Hainan Province at 5: 00 on the 24th. The maximum wind force near the center is Grade 8 (18m/s), the lowest pressure in the center is 998 hectopascals, and the radius of Grade 7 wind circle is 80km.
One typhoon after another will not only bring cooling rain and strong winds to the mainland, but also cause property losses to the people. People enjoy the coolness brought by typhoons crossing the border again and again, and they should also be prepared to prevent typhoons. The landing site of typhoon must not be taken lightly, and the northern and remote areas of the landing site need to be strictly guarded against the continuous heavy precipitation caused by the interaction between typhoon inverted trough and cold air. It is necessary to pay close attention to the disaster prevention information released by government departments and the weather conditions released by meteorological departments, plan the itinerary in time, and prevent precipitation from interfering with future plans.
You know, when a typhoon crosses the border, it may fly into the sky if you are not careful.
