If I only run away once in midsummer, then I will definitely choose to go to the mountains.

There are hills, bamboo forests, deep pools and clear waters, cicadas singing, bamboo shadows in the breeze and clear springs that can freeze summer.

For a weekend trip, Lumenshan National Forest Park, which is the closest to the city, is undoubtedly the best choice, and tickets for Hubei scenic spot are free.

Take Mount Lumeng as the first stop for summer vacation. I started from downtown with Dafu Jun, but it only took half an hour to drive into the blue-green mountains.

The first thing I saw was the Lumenshan memorial archway in the jungle, with its original name "Suling Mountain" written on it. The words on the three arches refer to three ancient celebrities who lived in seclusion here.

Drive into the driveway and there are lush mountains on both sides. When you get to the door, you don't have to stop and walk. The driveway goes straight to Lumeng Temple, and you can get off and visit no matter which scenic spot you pass by.

The bright sunshine falls on the Butterfly Valley in Huaxi, where cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, chrysanthemums and butterflies fly in the sea of flowers, reaching the realm of Zen in bamboo forests.

Most people only know that Enshi is the air conditioner of Hubei people, but they don't know that this bamboo forest, which is said to be carefully cared for by Meng Haoran, is more like an oversized air-conditioned room, both primitive and cool.

The stacked stones are mountains, and the accumulated water becomes springs. The meridians of the bamboo forest grow towards the sun, as if they can hear the sound of jointing and smell the fragrance of soil transpiration.

It is said that there are many mosquitoes in the bamboo forest, but there are surprisingly no mosquitoes here, which is poetic and interesting. Many beautiful aunts and uncles practice yoga or sit on the floor here.

Out of the bamboo forest, the driveway and the mountain forest are integrated. On the one hand, there are eight rugged stone forests with different shapes, and on the other hand, there is a pool of clear and deep water.

In the quiet pool, there are dead leaves falling from the cliff, golden in summer bent by lotus flowers, and looking at the wooden pavilion connected with the stone bridge in the pool, like a hermit.

The real hermit is actually hidden behind him in Haoran Academy, where 20-year-old Meng Haoran once lived in seclusion and worked hard to write thousands of poems.

As soon as we entered the academy, we were attracted by the statue of Meng Haoran. He was lying on the grass with a long scroll in his hand, as if to guide us to feel the magnificent Tang poetry hall in Xiangyang.

A Tang poem, half a history of Xiangyang, and immortal poems of famous Tang poems are displayed in the quiet poetry courtyard of blue bricks and tiles, and I can't help but meditate on my experience in my heart.

There is also a homestay in the depths of the academy, which has chosen the same architectural style as the Poetry Academy, bravely shouldering the "ancient" spirit in exquisiteness, and perfectly integrating modernity and poetry.

Walking along the stone steps to the forest, the gentleman and I had to slow down, for fear of missing the Suling stone next to the path, which was engraved with poems by literati of all ages.

If you have enough physical strength, it is recommended to walk around, and then go down to Lumen Temple to enjoy the most primitive forest landscape along the mountain view and give your lungs a deep cleaning.

As soon as we approached Lumeng Temple, the solemnity of the red wall and the quietness of the temple soothed our anxious hearts. As one of the earliest temples in China, Xiangyang people seem to have neglected it for too long.

After taking their temperature, they went straight to the Ursa Major Hall. People who keep traditional etiquette continue to burn incense respectfully, put their hands together and make wishes with their eyes closed.

A short incense is not enough to express sincerity. Pass through the red-walled memorial archway full of Zen, make a worship, and then take a sip of the spring water flowing from the supernatural spring, and you can feel at ease.

According to legend, Meng Haoran drank this inexhaustible spring, and poetry is like a spring. In addition to Meng Haoran, there is another person hidden in this world.

The main hall behind Lumeng Temple is where Pang Degong named Zhuge Liang "Wolong", Pang Tong "Feng Chu" and Si Mahui "Water Mirror".

If you want to see Xiangyang and Hanshui, you can only walk to the top of Lumen Mountain. At Yunge Pavilion in Wangjiang River, you can not only see the Hanshui River winding eastward, but also see the looming ancient city of Xiangyang.

The beauty of nature always needs to be experienced by yourself. In the photo, I can't feel the surprise of seeing clouds kissing the Hanshui River at the top of the mountain.

When we left, we went back to the original point. Perhaps the significance of the return trip lies in the fact that the passing scenery of Shan Ye has been left in our picture frames and hearts.

Cool summer may be the reason why you go to Lumenshan National Forest Park, but this is the beauty of Tang poetry, which can give you unexpected gains.
