It is emphasized that an excellent general should "know astronomy from the top, personnel from the middle, geography from the bottom, and be at home everywhere" (Jiang Qi, Jiang Yuan). "There are three ways to be a soldier: one is heaven, the other is earth, and the third is people. The sky, the sun and the moon are bright, the five stars are combined, the comet is harmless, and the atmosphere is harmonious. Terrain, the city is steep and steep, with thousands of miles of waves, secluded Shimen caves and tortuous intestines. The people are strong, the saints must be wise, the three armed forces must be respectful, and the foot soldiers must use their lives and have food and clothing. A good general, because of the weather, geographical location and human harmony, is invincible, and the attacker is foolproof. " (Jiang Shi) This really gives play to the idea of the unity of heaven and earth in Zhouyi.

Zhouyi emphasizes the unity of "number, reason and phase", and "number" is expressed through "phase". And "mathematics" is the same as the "heart" of nature. As Lu Jiuyuan said, "My heart is the universe, and the universe is my heart". The essence of China's philosophy is to grasp a "heart" to understand the world and life.

However, people's "heart" is not fickle, has certain stability and changes regularly. Therefore, the prediction of general laws in Zhouyi is very accurate. But it also illustrates another problem. The calculated life span may not necessarily explain the future. The development of fate is ultimately in our own hands.
