Is Jiangsu south or north?
The dividing line between north and south is the Qinling Huaihe River Line, which just passes through Jiangsu Province. Although the main stream of Huaihe River has been injected into the Yangtze River through Hongze Lake-Three Rivers, the main irrigation canal in northern Jiangsu continues to serve as the north-south boundary. Therefore, most areas of Suqian, northern Huai 'an, northern Yancheng, Xuzhou and Lianyungang in the north of Hongze Lake-Subei irrigation main canal can be said to be the north; South-central Yancheng, south of Huai 'an, Yangzhou, Taizhou, Nantong and southern Jiangsu are in the south.
North-south difference
Climate: The climate in the north is relatively dry, with four distinct seasons in most areas. The weather in the south is mainly wet and rainy, and the rainy season is concentrated in April-June.
Diet: The staple food in northern China is pasta, such as steamed bread, pie, steamed stuffed bun, bread and noodles. And rice is the main food in southern China.
Housing, mostly bungalows in the north, with thick walls, pays attention to warmth, and tile houses in the south, with large inclination angle and convenient drainage.
