The development of history

Longchuan has a long history, and there were human activities as early as the Neolithic Age. Longchuan County was founded in the thirty-third year of Qin Shihuang (2 14 BC) and is now one of the oldest counties in China. At the beginning of the establishment of the county, the territory was vast, including Longchuan, Wuhua, Xingning, Heyuan, Heping and Ang Lee Pingxian, as well as Xinfeng, Lufeng, Zijin and Xunwu (belonging to Jiangxi Province).

After the sixth year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 33 1 year), Longchuan County was divided into new counties for many times. Since Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty, the county has been basically stable, with no major changes. Longchuan City (now Tuocheng) is the earliest ancient city in Longchuan. From the Qin Dynasty to the Republic of China, it was ruled by a county or a state. When Liu Yong was in the Southern Han Dynasty, he moved to the state. Counties have coexisted for more than 400 years, and are the political, economic, cultural and military centers of counties, known as Lingnan Ancient City.
