Geographical location, topography and climate characteristics

Hiroshima Prefecture is located in China District in the southwest of Japanese archipelago, and also in the southwest of Honshu Island, facing the middle of Seto Inland Sea, and connected with Okayama Prefecture, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Tottori Prefecture and Shimane Prefecture.

From south to north, Hiroshima Prefecture has three flat landforms with different heights, namely "low zone", "plateau zone" and "China Mountain" formed by underground faults, including the unique topographical features of Japan, such as mountains, seas, rivers, canyons, plains and basins, and rich natural landscapes of China Mountain and Seto Inland Sea.

Surrounded by the mountains of China and Shikoku, the climate is warm and sunny all year round. The climate along the gas coast is Setouchi-style, with less rain and more sunny, more precipitation in the northern mountainous areas and more Leng Xue in winter. So Hiroshima has both cold areas in the north and warm areas in the south. There are many kinds of animals and plants here, and you can enjoy all kinds of outdoor sports all year round. It has the title of "Japan in miniature".
