Xingtai City belongs to Hebei Province and is a prefecture-level city. Xingtai City is located in the south of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of the southern section of Taihang Mountain and at the western edge of North China Plain. Xingtai city is located at the intersection of the eastern foot of the southern section of Taihang Mountain and the North China Plain. The terrain in the territory is very different, high in the west and low in the east. From west to east, mountains, hills and plains are arranged in steps, mainly plains. Beijing-Guangzhou railway runs through the junction of hills and plains from north to south, with mountains and hills in the west and plains in the east.
