In addition, after the last wave of cold air, most of the sky in the north has not been completely cleared, and the amount of clouds has increased, resulting in a decrease in ground radiation warming. The temperature in most areas is low, and the highest temperature in many places in North China continues to be less than 20 C.

On the premise of low temperature, this cold air is further suppressed at present, resulting in rare low temperature in some places at the same time. It is predicted that after May 15, the temperature in Shanxi Province will rise and warm heat will return.

"Long summer" is not "summer"

Experts from Shanxi Climate Center said that although long summer is the first solar term in summer, in fact, many places have not really entered summer, and "long summer" is not "entering summer". From the climate point of view, the turn of spring and summer is a period of changeable weather, mainly because the atmospheric circulation in this period is in the adjustment stage of switching from winter mode to summer mode, and cold and warm air often "plays a game".
