Wudang mountain travel guide

Wudang Mountain is located in Danjiangkou, Shiyan, Hubei Province, a holy place of Taoism. Wudang Mountain is famous as the "crown of five mountains".

Known as "unparalleled scenery in ancient times, the first fairy mountain in the world."

Transportation:

Wudang Mountain Station (18km): No.202 (4 yuan) and No.203 (2 yuan) take about 20 minutes by car.

Wudang mountain west station (13km): the scenic spot through train 10 yuan, which takes about 12 minutes; Or bus 30 1, 20 minutes' drive.

Shiyan Station (40km): Bus 202.

Consumption:

Tickets 164 yuan (including Jinding of Taihe Palace and Zixiao Palace). You can enter the park twice in three days, and you need to pay the fare to 20 yuan, with half price in the off-season.

Light traffic 100 yuan (required), and you can get on and off at the midway scenic spots. Two roads, cableway to Qiongtai/hiking to Nanyan.

Cableway 150 yuan, one-way 80 yuan, the price changes a little according to the season.

Main attractions:

Taizipo (1 hour tour, blue tile red wall, Ming Taizu Judy's road of cultivation)

Happy Valley (50 minutes to play, many monkeys, be careful to grab things),

Zixiao Palace (40 minutes),

Nanyan (Wuyaling, Nantianmen and Longtou Lane),

Jinding Taihe Palace (2 hours, open at 6: 30 in peak season/7: 30 in low season)

D 1 Take a bus → Taizipo → Zixiao Palace → Stay near Nanyan and enjoy the sunset.

D2 Start climbing at 3-4 am, watch the sunrise at the top of the mountain after 2-3 hours, and get off Qiongtai by cableway or walk back to Nanyan before going out.

Accommodation: at the entrance of Wudang Mountain, it is convenient to eat and live. You can buy food on the road the day before and leave early the next morning. If you want to watch the sunrise and live on the top of the mountain or in the mountains, such as Nanyan and Qixing Tree, you need to climb at night. The whole accommodation is ok, and other attractions are not outrageous.

You must watch the weather forecast when you go out to play.

Climbing at night requires headlights or flashlights; A trekking stick can be prepared for those with poor physical strength, and knee pads can be worn for those with poor knees.

Incense is not expensive, please note: three pillars mean sincerity, six pillars mean wish, and nine pillars mean wish.

The temperature difference between day and night is large, so is the temperature difference between mountains. In the evening, you need to prepare a thick coat, wear sports shoes or hiking shoes to stay in the mountains or play in Jinding.

Be careful that some unscrupulous masters on the mountain call you for divination and invite you to buy a blessing bag. If you lose a thousand dollars, don't go.
