Xiawa Town in Xiawa-Fireworks Industry

Xiawa Town Fireworks Industrial Park was founded in May 2004, and was completed and put into operation in June+10 in 5438. There are five fireworks factories and a carton factory in the park, with a total investment of 7 million yuan and an area of 300 mu. Now the industrial park has three links and one leveling. The five fireworks factories in the park are from Liaoning Province and Hebei Province respectively, of which 2 are invested by Liaoning merchants and 3 by Hebei merchants. All five fireworks enterprises in the park were put into operation in June 2005, with an annual output value of nearly10,000 yuan, which can arrange employment for more than 270 people in the whole town and surrounding towns. Fireworks industrial park can produce more than 30 kinds of fireworks in five categories, mainly including red whip, high and low altitude fireworks, salute, double sound and other fireworks. Xiawa Town enjoys economic prosperity, social stability and harmonious political style. According to historical records, at the beginning of the 20th century, it was a famous flood and drought wharf with smooth rivers, dense sails and merchants. It once became the economic and trade center of Zhanhua County, and was widely praised as "Xiawa Street first, then Zhanhua City". A long history and cultural tradition has created Xiawa people who know how to manage and finance, as well as simple and kind folk customs. Xiawa people are hospitable, charitable, United and harmonious, and have a noble taste in life. The annual planting area of miscellaneous grains and beans is more than 40 thousand mu, and the annual output of high-quality miscellaneous grains is more than 4 million kilograms.
