According to the order of the Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Armed Police Jilin Provincial Corps dispatched more than a thousand officers and men to Soudeng Station Town and Yilaxi Town to search and rescue the masses. Due to the rising water potential in the upstream reservoir of Soudeng Station Town, relevant departments are preparing to excavate emergency spillway to improve the flood discharge capacity of the reservoir.

More than 200 officers and men of the detachment directly under the brigade braved the heavy rain, passed through many flood-stricken areas and maneuvered for more than 80 kilometers, and successfully arrived at the target area for investigation. Armed police officers and soldiers were divided into more than ten groups and searched door to door under the leadership of village cadres. Most villagers were told to evacuate to a safe place.
