Tangshan restricted travel time areas from June 14th to October 31st

Tangshan has an advantageous geographical location, rapid economic development, and a large number of private cars. In order to alleviate the traffic pressure in the city and the increasingly severe ambient air quality, control measures have been adopted to restrict traffic on odd and even numbers. According to the traffic restriction notice issued by Tangshan from June to October 2008, it can be seen that drivers need to abide by the normal traffic restriction rules this summer.

In order to alleviate traffic pressure, reduce motor vehicle pollutant emissions, and improve air quality, according to the "Atmospheric Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China Relevant regulations decided to implement motor vehicle traffic restriction management measures. The relevant matters are now notified as follows:

1. Time limit: June 14 to October 31, 2008, 7:00 to 20:00 every day on working days; Saturdays, Sundays and Legal holidays.

2. Restriction scope: all roads in the administrative areas of Lunan District, Lubei District, High-tech Zone, Fengnan District, Fengrun District, Kaiping District and Guye District, including urban (urban) roads and highways, except highways.

Three. Restricted content: Non-operating small (light and micro) vehicles (including temporary license plates and foreign license plates) are restricted to two numbers per day based on the last number of the license plate. The restricted numbers are consistent with those in Beijing. From June 14 to July 7, 2008, the working days were 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9 respectively; after July 8, 2008, the banned numbers rotated simultaneously with Beijing; If the license plate number ends in English letters, the last Arabic numeral shall prevail.

4. The following vehicles are not restricted by the above measures and are allowed to drive within the prohibited area.

(1) Police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles, and military vehicles that perform tasks;

(2) Special postal vehicles (including express vehicles), fuel (gas) ) transport vehicles and fresh product transport vehicles with urban truck passes (i.e. vehicles that transport fresh agricultural products, including fresh vegetables, fruits, fresh aquatic products, live livestock and poultry, fresh meat, fresh eggs, fresh milk, etc. )

(3) Administrative law enforcement vehicles with uniform logos sprayed on the body and performing law enforcement tasks;

(4) Insurance survey vehicles, funeral parlor funeral vehicles, and special tow trucks during operations , sprinkler trucks, road sweepers, guardrail cleaning trucks, sewage suction trucks, garbage removal trucks;

(5) Pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles with legal license plates , Special vehicles for disabled persons (disabled drivers).

5. This city initiates emergency response to heavy pollution weather and implements corresponding traffic restrictions.
