Where is Music Mountain?

There used to be a magical "music mountain" by the Bugou River, 2 kilometers east of Fangguan Township Government in Yunxi County, which was called "the north wind blows the conch" by the locals.

There are dozens of stone chimes hovering on the top of the Music Mountain, much like a huge conch. The ridge behind the conch is like a huge arm, clutching the conch, holding it high and trying to blow. This "Music Mountain" is about 65,438+00 feet high from the river to the top. There are many large and small wind tunnels on the mountain. Whenever the north wind blows hard, Music Mountain will make a flute-like sound, which can be heard for miles away. This is because there is a huge tuyere at the root of the mountain facing north, and the north wind blows in from here and then passes through those large and small wind tunnels, so there is magical music.

Legend has it that this music mountain is related to the dutiful son yangfu in Twenty-four Filial Pieties: It is said that when yangfu was very young, his mother brought him here to escape from the desert. It was dark and quiet at that time, and the mother and son had nowhere to stay, and they stumbled upon this wind tunnel. Mother Yang took some leaves to a nearby cave to spend the night. It was a night when the north wind blew hard and it was extremely cold. In order not to freeze his son, Yang Muyi suddenly took off his coat and covered him, and at the same time blocked himself in the hole to protect his son from the cold wind. The next morning, Yang Fu woke up to find his mother naked and frozen to death at the mouth of the cave. Yangfu wept bitterly, once again took some leaves to cover her mother, and moved some stones from the river to block the hole before leaving with tears. Later, Yang Fu studied hard, won the top prize, and was sent to Xi 'an as the magistrate. After yangfu took office, the thought of his mother freezing to death in the cold wind made him extremely sad. I asked for leave to find my mother's body so that I could be buried alone. It's a pity that he searched all the way, but he couldn't remember where the windy cave was that night, and finally he was disappointed. On the way back to Xi 'an, Yang Fu inquired about others along the way, saying that he missed his mother very much and asked if there was any old father and mother who didn't want to support him. He paid the price for it. Those who are disobedient and unfilial, hearing that yangfu is filial to his mother, have changed from evil to good, and began to honor their parents. Then yangfu later met a lonely old lady who had no children and no daughters on the road, and hired a sedan chair to carry her back to Xi 'an, where she was filial to her mother until she was sent to the mountains. In this way, the story of yangfu buying a mother has been handed down in Hubei and Shaanxi provinces, and is listed as one of the "Twenty-four Filial Pieties".

It is said that after yangfu buried his mother, although he blocked the tuyere of Music Mountain with stones, the blockage was not very strict. Whenever the north wind blows hard, Music Mountain can still make a flute-like sound.

About one night after liberation, the local people suddenly heard the prolonged firecrackers coming from the foot of Music Mountain. It was only at dawn the next day that a new coffin grave was buried at the tuyere, and a monument was set up with the inscription "Tomb of Hu Mumei's family". Eight brothers and sisters, including Hu Shenghua, also set up the monument, and specially indicated that the deceased was from Mianyang, Hubei. Because this coffin grave completely blocked the outlet of Music Mountain, Music Mountain can no longer make music like playing a flute.
