Economists have pointed out that the so-called "water-replenishing points" are actually some points in the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine that have the function of nourishing yin. Among them, there are three most commonly used points, namely Taixi point, Sanyinjiao point and Zhao Hai point.

One of the "water-replenishing points": Taixi point

Taixi point is located in the depression between the medial side of foot, the back of medial ankle and the tendon of heel. Massage twice a day, each time 10 minutes. When the weather is dry, rub it for a long time. Massage this point has the function of nourishing kidney yin, which is especially suitable for people whose constitution is biased towards kidney yin deficiency.

The second "water replenishing point": Sanyinjiao point

Sanyinjiao point is located on the inner side of the calf, 3 inches above the tip of the medial malleolus, and recessed behind the medial edge of the tibia. Massage twice a day for 5-6 minutes each time. Pregnant women should not press. It is especially suitable for people with yin deficiency who are partial to lung yin deficiency and kidney yin deficiency.

The third "water replenishment point": Zhao Haidian

Massage Zhao Hai point can supplement the whole body's yin. Zhao Hai point is on the inner side of human foot, in the depression below the tip of medial malleolus. Sun Simiao's Qian Jin Fang Yao records that Zhao Hai point "leaks yin", which means that if something goes wrong with this point, people's kidney water will be reduced, which may lead to deficiency of kidney yin and rising of deficiency fire. Therefore, massage twice a day, each time 10 minute, has the function of nourishing kidney yin.
