What scenic spots are recommended for Yangzhou tourist attractions?

Last National Day, I went to Yangzhou. At that time, due to the limited time, I only had five days to visit five famous scenic spots. I will share it with you today.

1. Slender West Lake

Slender West Lake has both natural scenery and the unique style of Yangzhou gardens. Because the lake is slender, like the belt of the goddess, it moves back and forth in twists and turns, and it is charming. The landscape is like an ink painting scroll, which is not worse than the West Lake, so it is called "Slender West Lake". Slender West Lake, formerly known as Guarantee Lake. It was not until the reign of Qing Qianlong that it was renamed Slender West Lake.

Located in the northwest suburb of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, it is a belt-shaped landscape composed of towns in Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has always maintained an interactive relationship with the Grand Canal. Slender West Lake has a total length of 4.3 kilometers, and is connected in series with Long Beach Spring Willow, Four Bridges Yu Yan, Xu Yuan, Xiaojinshan, Diaoyutai Wu Ting Bridge and Baita. Twenty-four scenic spots, such as the Twenty-four Bridge, Xichuntai, Wangchunlou, the lakeside promenade of silver moon Tea House, and the flowing water of the stone wall, make the long and narrow lake face a layered and winding landscape. Unique natural scenery and rich cultural landscape complement each other, just like a beautiful Chinese painting scroll slowly unfolding. For thousands of years, there are many scenic spots around Slender West Lake, and there are many beautiful legends and richness.

4. China Grand Canal Museum

The China Grand Canal Museum is located on the bank of the Sanwan Ancient Canal in Yangzhou. It is a new Tang-style building that combines the beauty of tradition and modernity and is a must-see in Yangzhou.

In the largest canal museum in China, you can learn about the changes of the Grand Canal and its significance to the politics, economy and culture of ancient China. Experience the wisdom of ancient hydraulic workers in China and the beautiful life brought by the Grand Canal; Appreciate the wisdom and philosophy of the relationship between man and nature in eastern civilization; Feel the charm of the canal heritage incisively and vividly, and it is worthy of being an artistic feast and the enjoyment of cultural leisure. The development history of the Grand Canal is basically synchronized with the history of China. In the absence of highways and trains in ancient times, "waterway transportation" was the most cost-effective choice. The canal has brought economy and prosperity to cities, which can be said to be the "lifeline" running through the land of the Central Plains.

5: daming temple

Daming temple, a world-famous Millennium temple, stands on the peak of Shugang, Yangzhou, and is known as "the first scenic spot in Yangzhou". In the first year of Tianbao in the Tang Dynasty, Jian Zhen, a famous monk, was famous all over the world before crossing Japan.

Daming temple and its affiliated buildings have become national cultural treasures with rich historical and cultural connotations because of its Buddhist temples and cultural relics. Daming temple is not a pure Buddhist temple, but consists of five parts: the historical site of the temple, the Qiling Pagoda, the Laoxian Hall in Jian Zhen Memorial Hall and the Fiona Fang Garden in Xiyuan. It is a rare tourist attraction integrating garden scenery, cultural relics and historical sites and religious buildings in China. Jian Zhen Memorial Hall, designed by Mr. Liang Sicheng, was built at 1973 to commemorate this Japanese monk who made great contributions to the cultural exchange between China and Jian Zhen. The building refers to the elegant and simple style of Zhao Ti Temple in the Japanese Tang Dynasty, and retains the architectural artistic style of the Tang Dynasty. Recommended attractions: Tianwang Hall, Pingshan Hall, Xiyuan and Jian Zhen Memorial Hall.
